MoodGYM is a free, interactive internet-based program designed to prevent and decrease symptoms of depression. It consists of a number of modules, as each one builds upon material covered in earlier modules. The person will be presented with information, animated demonstrations, quizzes and “homework” exercises. The answers to the exercise are recorded in the person’s own personal moodGYM workbook. MoodGym also give the person feedback about his/her mental health, and the person can use the online exercise to work out how to handle life’s challenge.
